Biography

Max has been a real star for our kennel with a super temperament and willingness to please. He has surpassed Rocco in many ways and is a totally different character in the ring and appears to enjoy every minute of it.

Judges Critique:- Open Dog (7, 3) 1st Embleton's Ch & Ir Ch Bernemcourt Fascination JW. Wonderful working qualities with glamour and style yet without exaggeration. A lovely mix of strength and gentleness and his beautiful well marked headpiece with lovely expression just melts the heart, easy to see how he has gained his title both in the UK and Ireland. A mid-sized lad, lovely depth of body with strong chest, excellent bone, power without coarseness, beautifully finished and furnished with the best of jackets, superb lush deep coat, immaculate. Excellent angles, strong rear assembly and his strength and deportment is confirmed on his sound move. Balanced and a highly pleasing outline to the eye and under the hands. Loved him for nature, a mellow tranquillity but with a sparkle to tell me he loves life. Enjoying himself and so deserved the limelight here. Almost his 4th birthday, I was delighted and privileged to add to that celebration by awarding him the Dog CC, Reserve Best in Show & Best Opposite Sex.

Judges Critique:- 1 Embleton's Ir Ch Bernemcourt Fascination; 2 Benson's Patrick De La Galea at Bernervalley, two mature dogs with their own individual qualities but quite different. 1 has the more typical outline & proportions but could be tidier coming on. He is well marked, nicely ribbed & shows with great Joie De Vivre. 2 is cleaner coming on but not as well marked facially & is not as well bodied & ribbed; he is also a ratehr more rangy dog & his tail carriage is not as pleasing as 1. Eventually 1 won the CC, this qualifying for his UK Title. His 3rd and qualifying CC for his UK Champion Title

Judges Critique:- Open Dog (5) 1st Embleton’s Ir Ch Bernemcourt Fascination JW. 2 ½ years old, medium sized, lovely type, in top form today. Good masculine head, dark eyes and typical expression. Well proportioned body and correct tail carriage giving a lovely balanced outline. Good angulation front and rear, short hocks, tight cat feet. He really shows himself off on the move with good reach and drive. Great ring attitude and well presented in excellent condition. Pleased to award him his first CC. Also went 2nd in Champion stakes under Zena Thorn-Andrews

Judges Critique:- 2nd Embleton's Ch, Ir Ch, Bernemcourt Fascination. JW ShCM Ir J Ch CW11 AnCh11. Similar in makeup to CC winner this 3 year old dog is well presented in good coat. Excelled in movement. Broad head and dark eye. A lower medium sized dog of good proportions with a broad chest and good length of upper arm. Level topline both standing and on the move. Well muscled and shapely thigh and nicely let down hocks. Well rounded croup with excellent rear angulation. Pleased to award him the Reserve CC.

Special yearling classYearling Dog (11) 1st Embleton’s Ir.Ch. Bernemcourt Fascination JW. Two year old strong, masculine dog of excellent conformation. Beautiful quality head, with flat broad skull, good stop, straight jaw and kind eye. Medium neck leading to good sloping shoulders, broad chest and strong, straight legs, Able to stand fore square. Nice turn of stifle at the rear, rounded rump and well muscled thighs. He maintains a level top line on the move. Plenty of substance and strength which made for a lovely, strong profile. An agile mover, who covered the floor at a sensible pace, steadily and with drive. This dog had an attitude of confidence and stood with great style, which attracts one’s attention. He is obviously of excellent quality and type and will no doubt have a great future. Perhaps could do with losing a couple of pounds. Friendly, alert dog. Pleased to award him the Reserve CC.

Judges critique:- 1st Embleton’s Bernemcourt Fascination. Well balanced boy of 9mths with nice head, dark expressive almond shaped eyes, strong straight muzzle and good mouth with correct dentition and bite. He had a good neck, well laid shoulders, very pleasing forehand, excellent strong bone, straight front legs and round compact feet. This lovely boy had a super shapely well covered body, nice rib cage, firm loin, strong topline and correct angulations behind. He was put down in good coat and condition with correct tail set and carriage and he set up and handled beautifully, plus he moved around the ring like a seasoned exhibit as if he’d been doing it for years; taking strides of equal length with a lovely forward reach and retaining his topline and super profile outline as he did so and I was pleased to award him the RDCC &. Best Puppy.
